Ian Cadwallader and Steve Graham of Chew Valley Lake SC are the 2026 UK Flying Fifteen National Champions.
They finished the championship, hosted by the Tees & Hartlepool YC, with 13 pts including two race wins.
Second were Steve Goacher and Tim Harper of the Chew Valley SC with 23 pts, and third Andy and Michelle Tunnicliffe of Bassenthwaite SC with 24 pts.
There was a good spread of race winners with: Jeremy Davy and Martin Huett, John Lavery and Alan Green, Mike Preston and Mike Harris, and Charles and Charlie Apthorp each claiming race wins.
It was noticeable how many crews at the event were taking part in their first Flying Fifteen Nationals, and it’s also good to see the range of boats competing, everything from the the sixty-year-old Flying Fifteen of Mick Scholes (K419), right up to the brand-new-first-time-on-the-water boat of Ian Cadwallader (GBR4152).
