It was a long day in Gdynia, Poland, on the third day of the Junior 470 World Championships 2026.
The most consistent team of the day was the 2025 Junior World Champions, Roy Levy and Ariel Gal of Israel.
They finished 5th, 3rd and 2nd in Wednesday’s races, which moved them into the overall lead with 16 pts.
Lomane Valade and Julien Bunel of France had an excellent start to the day, winning the first race in the Gold Fleet. However, finishes of 10th and 17th in the next two races dropped them to second place overall with 19 pts.
Lisa Vucetti and Vittorio Bonifacio of Italy remain in third place overall with 20 pts and continue to lead the U21 category.
Britain’s James Crossley and Noah Fitzgerald hold 8th place in the all important top ten.
