Jérémie Beyou, who was one of the outstanding pre-start favourites to win the Vendée Globe, crossed the finish line in 13th place on Saturday 6 February 2021.

Jeremie Beyou, has confirmed that he will re-start the Vendee Globe on Tuesday despite the leaders being around 2,500 nm south, and approaching the Doldrums.
The ninth edition of the Vendée Globe solo non-stop race around the world will start from Les Sables d’Olonne on the French Atlantic coast on Sunday 8 November
