Always well turned out, Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR) has teamed up with World leading British marine clothing and footwear specialists Henri Lloyd as their technical clothing supplier for the 2012/13 America’s Cup World Series (ACWS) campaign. The new team will start racing just weeks after Ben Ainslie competes at his fifth consecutive Olympics at the first event of the 2012-13 Series in San Francisco this August.



BAR and Henri Lloyd and have been working closely together to review and develop the technical range which is to be worn by the sailing team, and will include bespoke items, which will offer protection to the team as they compete on the high performance AC45s. The partnership will also see a new merchandise range for the BAR team that will be available online and at all ACWS events throughout from August.

BAR will announce their sailing team in the coming weeks and compete at their first event of the 2012-13 World Series on August 21-26 in San Francisco, USA. They will be entering the America’s Cup World Series in September 2012/13, but this will not include entry to the Louis Vuitton Cup, the Challenger Series for the 34th America’s Cup. Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR) will be entering the America’s Cup World Series under the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club.
