Gold, Silver & Bronze for GBR at the RS:X European Championships in Tallinn. After a delay for the breeze to arrive it was all action with a gusty with 10 -12 knots at the bottom of the course and 5-6 at the top. This did not seem to faze the top performers.

Britain's Kieran Martin could not stop Pawel Tarnowski of Poland getting away to take the gold but he just had to finish to take silver. 10th was good enough and that’s where he crossed the line. Mattia Camboni of Italy finished in third.



The story in the women’s fleet was about the battle for third place. Veronica Fanciulli of Italy took the gold with Neomi Cohen (ISR 7) the silver. But what about Britain's Saskia Sills and Poland's Basia Dmuchowska? 15 year old Saskia already had the U17 gold in her pocket but the more senior bronze was what she was determined to hang on to.

She managed to focus herself and get into the race covering Basia and in fact doing better than that. Saskia put in a solid 6th place. Basia 9th. On overall results Saskia won bonze medal.
