International 505 - Pre-World Championship

 
Mike Holt and Rob Woelfel of the USA win the Pre-Worlds at Gdynia

After three races Holt and Woelfel USA won the 505 Worlds warm-up event in Gdynia, Poland over the weekend.

They finished five points clear of Australia's Sandy Higgins and Paul Marsh, with Lutz Stengel and Holger Jess of Germany in third.

Best placed British teams were Nathan Batchelor and Sam Pascoe in fifth with Andy Smith and Tim Needham sixth and Terry Scutcher and Christian Diebitsch seventh.

The 2018 World Championship starts today, Monday. The weather forecast is for light winds.
