Kiel Week Day 2 and the action is back

 
Day 2 for the International dinghies at the 136th Kieler Woche and racing took-off . . .

The 29er Euro Cup event managed five races for the 118 strong fleet and Mathias Berthet and Alexander Franks-Plenty of Norway took three wins and a nine point lead.

In second are Oscar Engstrom and Hugo Westberg of Sweden and in third place are New Zealand's Sebastian Lardies and Scott McKenzie.

Britain's Ewan Wilson and Fin Armstrong (2,14,2,9,7) are in seventh place, Freya Black and Millie Algridge are 25th.

In the 505 event with four races completed, Aussie Michael Quirk and Holger Jess are tied for the lead on six points with Stefan Kochlin and Andreas Achterberg of Germany.

Nathan Batchelor and Norman Byrd of Britain are fifth, and Chris Lewns and Jack Kilburn sixth.

In the Radial Open event with 170 entries, Julian Hoffman of Germany leads from Piotr Malinowski of Poland by three points after four races.

Britain's Jon Emmett is in sixth place, Arthur Fry is 14th.

In the Contender class event, Christoph Homeier of Germany leads from Jesper Nielsen of Denmark by two points after five races.

Cesare Barabino of Italy leads the Laser 4.7 event.

Lars Johan Brodtorb of Norway leads the Europe event.

Jan Kurfield of Germany leads the OK dinghy event.

In the Hobie 16, Lauritz Bocklemann and Anke Delius of Germany lead after five races.

In the Flying Dutchman class, Kilian Konig and Johannes Brack of Germany lead.
