Caveizel victorious at A-Class Euro Spring Cup

36 competitors took part in the International A Class European Spring Cup on Lake Garda

The Swiss team, headed by Sandro Caviezel (1,1,5,4,3,2,3), had a strong start of the series whereas Mischa Heemskerk (13,32,1,1,1,1,1) was struggling early on with the setup.

Caviezel's early race wins were enough to the take overall victory.

Emanuel Dode and Robert Graczyk had a battle for third position with Dode emerging the better by two points.

Six nations in the top 10 shows a truly international event and the dates for next years event will be available soon.

The event was as usual perfectly organised by Circolo Vela Arco - and the weather decided to play ball this year with racing for all three days.

Due to the northerly course being used by another class, the A-Class were further south with slightly less wind, typically 8-15 knots, completely flat water and with more tactical decisions to make.
