New Team HQ for Alex Thomson Racing

Alex Thomson Racing, has planning permission currently pending for a brand new team base as part of major redevelopment plans at Haslar Marina in Gosport.

Alex had this to say:

‘Haslar Marina has been our home for more than 15 years and If realised, the project will involve the development of a true centre of excellence for ocean racing, providing a world-class facility for our team, partners and the local community'

The team is also preparing for the Route du Rhum in St Malo in November. This is the first time Alex will compete in the single-handed transatlantic race to Guadeloupe.

HUGO BOSS has been out of refit for over a month now and have been fortunate enough to have some great sailing days out on the Solent.

They were joined by Jodie Kidd, Yachting Journalists' Association ‘Young Sailor Of The Year’ Montel Fagan-Jordan and former England 7's Captain Ollie Richardson.

They also took part in day’s filming for the Sky One show ‘A League Of Their Own’, which will air in 2019!

HUGO BOSS has set off on transatlantic delivery, which will eventually see Alex and the boat visit Canada and America.

This will be the first time since the New York Vendée Race in 2016.

The 2018 dates are as follows:

Montreal – 2nd - 4th June
Toronto – 11th - 15th June
Boston 1st - 3rd July
New York – 10th - 15th July
