Nacra15 Worlds - French dominate day 4

The Nacra15 World Championships comes to its final day with the French team of Thomas Proust and Martineau Clement as leaders.

In second place is the Belgium team of Henri Demesmaeker and Frederique Van Eupen, and third are the Australian's Ashleigh Swadling and Jed Fatches.

Thursday’s racing day started early, around 7:00 am when the competitors went out on the water even though the first race was not possible until 13:00 hrs.

Three races were completed, all won by Proust and Clement. Demesmaeker and Van Eupen took second in the first two races, Swadling and Fatches in the third race - Race 6.

Adrian Surroca and Eloisa Santacreu of Spai took third in the first race of the day and sit sixth overall.

The Swiss pair Arnaud Grange and Marie van der Klink were third in thefinal two races and are fifth overall.

Best British pair are Theo and Jasmine Williams (43,49,BFD) who are 49th overall.

Four races are scheduled for the final day.
