Radial Youth Worlds - U17 title for Matilda Nicholls

Final day of the Radial Youth Worlds in Medemblik where Britain's Matilda Nicholls, who had her worst day, but still took the girls U17 Radial Youth World title by 31 points.Girls podium -

While Charlotte Rose USA had the best score of the day (1,2) to grab third place.

Britain's Daisy Collingridge (17,7) sailed herself into ninth place, one point ahead of Matilda Nicholls (35,42) who took the girls U17 Radial Youth title by 31 points.

The stonger wind played to Dimitris Papadimitriou's strengths, he scored a 2, 1, to move from fifth to top the leaderboard when it really mattered.

Second overall was Matias Dietrich ARG and third Nicholas Bezy HKG, with Kiwi Josh Armit taking fourth and the boys U17 title.

Britain's Ben Whaley (11,4) also did well moving to 22nd overall. Arthur Fry was best GBR in the U17.

Next up at Medemblik (21-26 August) will be the Radial World Championships with Britain's Alison Young defending her title.
