Zhik 29er Class Worlds - Gold fleet

A lively international field continued to dominate the Zhik 29er Class World Championship at Alamitos Bay YC on the last day of the Qualifiers.

After nine races Duncan Loiaz and Elias Dalli, ARG, maintained a grip on first place, holding off a challenge by Theo Revil and Gautier Guevel, FRA, with Benji Daniel/Alex Burger, RSA, finishing third.

Britain's Nick Robins and Billy Vennis-Ozanne recovered well to finish seventh, with Max Clapp and Ross Banham in eighth.

The top 50 qualifiers form the Gold fleet.
