Optimist Worlds - Marco Gradoni leads Final Series

After three Final series races on Wednesday at the Optimist World Championship series in Thailand, Marco Gradoni of Italy has a 13 point lead.

Not a great day for Gradoni (7, 13, 7) compared to his earlier results, but easily good enough to keep the overall lead.

Muhammad Fauzi Bin Kaman Shah of Malaysia moved from seventh to second with a 2, 12, 2 scoreline and Mic Sig Kos Mohr of Costa Rica stays in third, and only three points back, despite a 10, 24, 10 scoreline.

The Yellow fleet winners came from further back. China's Haotian Li won the first race but a 12 and 65 drops him to 12th.

Second race winner was Dante Parodi of Chile who had a 9 and 16 and is 7th overall. Third race winner was Thai sailor Panwa Boonnak who with a 19 and 9 is now 10th.

Britain's William Pank (33, 50, 44) drops to 19th overall. Haydn Sewell is 52nd.
