Star World Championship - Day 3

After no racing Monday at the Star World Championships in Troense, Denmark, race 2 of the event was sailed ideal conditions.

The fleet was held ashore due to strong wind Tuesday morning, but after wind peaks of up to 26 knots the fleet got away on Race 2 at 13:30 hrs (local time).

The preliminary results posted are not sorted correctly, but it appears that:

Facundo Olezza Bazan and Juan Pablo ARG won race 2, ahead of Reinhard Schmidt and Paul Sradnick GER, with third place going to Eivind Melleby and Joshua Revkin NOR.

Overall this puts Schmidt and Sradnick of Germany top of the leaderboard on 5 points, second are Bazan and Pablo on 6 points and third Melleby and Revkin with 7 points.
