Vendee Globe - Its a Super Moon for Alex Thomson

After storming through The Doldrums, today Alex Thomson and Hugo Boss can begin to stretch their legs towards the equator. Looks like the perfect place to see the super moon.

For the seven frontrunners, the Doldrums are in their wake. Thomson is out in front and set to smash the reference time to the Equator.

The leaders are expected to cross the Equator Tuesday evening.

6. Jeremie Beyou on Maitre Coq - DTL 121 nm
7. Morgan Lagraviere on Safran - DTL 125 nm
8. Yann Elies on Quigunnier - DTL 195 nm
9. Jean Le Cam on Finistere Mer Vent - DTL 265 nm
10. Thomas Ruyant on Le Souffle du Nord - DTL 311 nm

Fleet spread is now 1103 nm back to Sebastien Destremau.
