293 World Championship in Garda - Final Results

A good British entry for the huge 293 World Championship in Garda Trentino with Finn Hawkins taking Bronze in the Boys U-15.

U-17 boy

First place confirmed for Tom Gerandeau of France. In second place Leonidas Tsortanidis of Greece and third place for Fabien Pianazza of France.

Isaac Lines of Britain was 22nd of 132 entries.

U-17 girls

An almost total italian podium: Giorgia Speciale of Italy was the easy winner with Enrica Schirru also Italy second and Aikaterini Divari of Greece third.

Speciale has won a medal in all five editions of the T293 Worlds she took part in: three gold and two silver medals in U-15 and U-17 categories.

A strong British entry with Mollie Densley Robins finishing 11th, Islay Watson 12th, Alysia Gibson 16th and Jude Nicol 17th in 82 entries.

U-15 boys

Gold medal for Mathis Ghio of France, silver medal for the Israeli Eyal Zror and bronze for Britain's Finn Hawkins.

Also Ethan Moody of Britain was 9th and James Bulson 23rd from 136 entries.

U-15 girls

Mak Cheuk Wing of Hong Kong was the winner with Mathilde Garandeau of France second.

Third place for the Israeli Linoy Geva with Britain's Izzy Adcock finishing strongly but just missing the podium, in fourth.

Plus Men and Women

Men's Gold for Antoniino Cangemi of Italy with the Norwegian Jakob Ruud second and third place for Hugo Mollard-Tanguy of France..

Among women, the victory goes to the Clementine le Joliffe of France, followed by Patrycja Lis of Poland and third for the Mexican Mariana Aguilar.

Britain's Lucy Grayston finished 6th despite not sailing the final three races. Gemma Grayston GBR was 12th.
