Sailing World Cup Qingdao - Day 2

The seven Olympic classes taking part in the Qingdao World Sailing Cup raced in hot and humid conditions on day 2.

In the Laser event, Giovanni Coccoluto (ITA) won the first race and took third in the second race to challenge Croatia's Tonci Stipanovic (2, 2) for the overall lead after 4 races.

Britain's Lorenzo Brando Chiavarini is in third after a 3, 9. Winner of the second race was Michael Beckett of Britain, he is 15th overall.

In the Radial, China's Dongshuang Zhang remains top after a win and a fourth place. Monika Mikkola of Finland is third after a 1, 5.

China's Hao Lan and Chao Wang finished with a 1 and 2 on day two to top the Men's 470 fleet with four points. Taking the second win were Jian Xiang and Jichang Wang (CHN).

Mengxi Wei and Yani Xu (CHN) also keep their lead in the women's 470 after a 6 and 1.

The Finn is an all China event with Lei Gong (2, 1, 1, 1) leading He Chen moves into second (1,6,2,2).

In the men's RS:X the Chinese fleet is led by Chunzhuang Liu (1, 3, 5) with Mengfan Gao moving into second (2, 1, 1).

The women's RS:X is led by Hongmei Shi (1, 1, 3) with Xiaoqing Yu in second (2, 3, 7).
