Helena Lucas will go for gold in Rio on Saturday

Matt Bugg of Australia was disqualified from Race 10 of the 2.4mR after incident with Spain. He drops to third overall - Putting Lucas GBR leader for gold.

Helena Lucas now leads the 2.4mR and will go for gold Saturday in the final race. Damien Seguin of France is second, one point behind Lucas, Bugg is now third, ten points off Lucas.

Any outside chance of claiming SKUD18 gold disappeared for Rickham and Birrell Friday as Daniel Fitzgibbon and Liesl Tesch (AUS) successfully defended their title from London 2012 with a race to spare.

The GBR pair will be trying for silver. John McRoberts and Jackie Gay of Canada have a one point led on them going into the final race.

The British Sonar crew, John Robertson, Hannah Stodel and Steve Thomas lost any chance of claiming a first Paralympic Sonar medal after race finishes of eighth and 10th Friday.

They are ninth overall, while Colin Harrison, Russell Boaden and Jonathan Harris of Australia have already taken the gold.
