Day 2 of the Rio Paralympic Sailing events

As you will know well from the Olympic sailing events the wind can be elusive around Rio. All starts were postponed. First start was the Sonar . . .

All three fleets were released.

The 2,4mR was was abandoned at the windward mark and they have returned to shore - no more racing today.

Race 3 -
1st CAN Paul Tingley, Logan Campbell, Scott Lutes,
2nd NOR Aleksander Wang-Hansen, Marie Solberg, Per Eugen Kristiansen,
3rd GRE Vasilis Christoforou, Anargyros Notaroglou, Thodoris Alexas.

Britain's John Robertson, Hannah Stodel, Steve Thomas were 14th.

Sonars have returned to shore - no more racing today.

1st AUS Colin Harrison, Russell Boaden, Jonathan Harris, 8pts
2nd CAN Paul Tingley, Logan Campbell, Scott Lutes, 11pts
3rd GRE Vasilis Christoforou, Anargyros Notaroglou, Thodoris Alexas. 12pts

Britain's John Robertson, Hannah Stodel, Steve Thomas are 12th with 34 pts

2nd POL Monika Gibes and Piotr Cichocki
3rd CAN John McRoberts and Jackie Gay
4th GBR Alexandra Rickham and Niki Birrell.
