Artemis Racing win Toulon, LandRover BAR extend overall

Artemis Racing won Toulon, the penultimate event of the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series.

The top three teams will all be pleased with their results in Toulon.

Artemis Racing won races and the event, Softbank Team Japan made a great recovery to come from last to second and win the final race.

And LandRover BAR turned their event around to extend their overall lead.

Artemis Racing opened Sunday with a win in race 4 ahead of Softbank Team Japan and LandRover BAR.

In the second race LandRover BAR took the lead off the line, to take the race 5 win ahead of GroupamaTeam France and Artemis Racing, who recovered from an OCS.

Final race of the series, race 6, and Softbank Team Japan took their first win of the weekend. In second were Emirates TeamNZ and third GroupamaTeam France.

That gave Artemis Racing the Toulon victory five points clear of Softbank Team Japan, with LandRover BAR in third.

In the overall LVAC World Series, LandRover BAR stretch their lead to 14 points over Oracle Team USA, with Emirates TeamNZ in third.

Just one more LVAC World Series event left in Japan on the 19-20 November.
