Consistency was the name of the game on the opening day in Hyeres.

Lenny of Tonu Toniste (Estonia) looked to be running away with the first day . . .

They won the opening race and followed that with a second place, but then blew-up in race 3 with a 29, to finish the day in seventh overall.

Step forward the British, Gill Race team (helm Geoff Carveth) who did not win any races but put together a steady 4, 3, 3, scoreline to lead overall.

Winner of race 2 was Blow-Slam Sailing of Peder Nergaard NOR, but when combined with 20 and 31 place finishes put them down in 13th overall.

Marrakech Express of Matto Ivaldi ITA, managed things a bit better, winning race 3 and with scores of 9 and 12 finished fifth overall.
