The idyllic island paradise in the Indian Ocean was a must see for sailors and their loved ones who made the journey.

Just about every single podium ranked kite racer was in attendance.

Three back to back races were scheduled for Saturday, final day of racing.

A forecasted dying breeze and the shallow water and ripping current on the course all played a factor in the rig decision, but the velocity remained steady throughout all of the finals racing.

Frenchman Nico Parlier came out swinging once again.

He won the three final races, securing the top spot on the Overall podium with two races to spare.

With a win in San Francisco and now a win in Mauritius, Parlier is favorite to win the final stop in Perth (Rockingham) Australia in November.

In second was Jonny Heineken of the USA with Bridge third.

Daniela Moroz of the USA was first women (19 overall), ahead of Elena Kalinina of Russia.
