Day 9 Results from the Sailing at Weymouth - The 49er the men's 470 and the return Match Racers continue their series races, while the Laser and Radial events have their medal races on the Nothe spectator course.
Women's Radial
Gold for Lijia Xu of China who won the women's Radial medal race to take the Olympic title. Silver went to Marit Bouwmeester of the Netherlands and Bronze to Evi Van Acker of Belgium. Britain's Alison Young was fourth in the medal race and finishes fifth overall.
Laser
Tom Slingsby of Australia duly won Gold in the Laser event after finishing second to last while making sure that Pavlos Kontides of Cyprus had no chance to steal the title. Kontides took the Silver and Rasmus Myrgren of Sweden the Bronze. Britain's Paul Goodison finished third in the medal race and seventh overall.
Men's 470
First race today for the 470, Race 7, won by Britain's Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell ahead of the Argentine pair, Lucas Calabrese and Juan de la Fuente. In third were the overall series leaders, Australian's Mathew Belcher and Malcolm Page.
Sime Fantela and Igor Marenic of Croatia won race 8. Lucas Calabrese and Juan de la Fuente rounded off a good day with another second place. Third were Álvaro Marinho and Miguel Nunes of Portugal. Patience and Bithell finished sixth (their discard) and are second overall behind Belcher and Page, AUS.
49er
Australia's Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen took control half-way through race 14 to win ahead of Yukio Makino and Kenji Takahashi of Japan. Third were Allan Norregaard and Peter Lang of Norway. Britain's Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes had one of their down-swings and finished 17th.
And in race 15 the Aussie pair did enough to take the 49er Gold ahead of the medal race. Also the New Zealanders Peter Burling and Blair Tuke are confirmed for the Silver.
Winners of race 15 were Giuseppe Angilella and Gianfranco Sibello of Italy with Lauri Lehtinen and Kalle Bask of Finland second and the Outteridge and Jensen third. Morrison and Rhodes finished seventh and will battle for Bronze in the medal race on Wednesday.
