Greenhalgh steps up as Carveth falters

Rob Greenhalgh moved into second place at the SB20 European Championships as Geoff Carveth faltered in his challenge to front runner, Rodion Luka, who stays clear leader after day 3. Carveth began the day one point off the lead, but after three races on Tuesday he slumped to fourth, nine points behind Luka.

Greenhalgh was best of the day with a 3, 1, 2 score while Craig Burlton stayed in contention with a 2, 2, 10. Luka finished seventh in the first race but recovered to a third in race 2 and then finished with his second race win this week to keep his scoreline in single figures and the title within his grasp.
