Megan Pascoe finished the 2.4mR World Championships in Porto San Giorgio, Italy in third place after starting the event with an OCS. Peter Andersson of Sweden took the title despite a strong charge by defending champion Stellen Berlin, also of Sweden. Berlin won the final three races to get to within one point of Andersson.
