The 2.4 mR World Championship start Wednesday at the Porto San Giorgio Marina on the Italian Adriatic Coast with a combined non-handicapped/disabled entry of 90 participants from 10 nations. However, the three Paralympic Medalist from the 2012 London Games are not taking part. Defending champion, Stellan Berlin of Sweden is competing and leading the strong British challenge is Megan Pascoe.
