Victory in the Laser and Radial at GAES Palamós Christmas Race

On a gorgeous Sunday morning in Palamós with bright sunshine and blue sky with a SW wind 5-7 knots expected to start blowing around midday. A SW breeze shyly appeared in the bay as forecast and the 49ers sailed out to complete their medal race GAES Palamós Christmas Race. After their race the wind dropped and all racing was abandoned. Final leading results below.

Of the British entries, Elliot Hanson won the Laser event, Alison Young won the Radial. Andrew Mills was third in the Finn and in the 49er James Peters and Ed Fitzgerald were third. Joanna Freeman and Katie Tomsett were second in the women's 470.
