470 Spring Cup - Day 2 in Marseille

 
Light wind conditions forced a postponement but eventually two more races were completed at the 470 Coupe de Printemps (Spring Cup) in Marseille. Sime Fantela and Igor Marenic of Croatia won the first and Jim Asenath and Roger Hudson of South Africa the second. Overall Germany's Ferdinan Gerz and Oliver Szymanski take the lead with eight points, six point clear of Paul Snow-Hansen and Daniel Willcock of New Zealand.

Olympic Champions Matt Belcher and Will Ryan of Australia got back into the leading pack with a 11, 5, 6 following a DSQ on day 1. They now take seventh overall. New Zealand's Olympic Champions Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie are first women, in 11th, after a tough day scoring a 15 and 26.
