A mix of Skandia Team GBR’s young guns and seasoned campaigners topped the standings this weekend as WPNSA staged the final instalment of the RYA Olympic Classes National Ranking Series 2012 (13-14 October). After witnessing some strong battles across all classes on the first weekend event in September, this second event showcased some competitive and exciting racing with 12- 16 knots on Saturday and a lighter 8-10 knots on Sunday. The two new Olympic classes were a real success, given that this was the first event the RYA has run for the Kiteboarding and the women’s Skiff 49er FX class.
