Leaders tied after 6 races at FD Worlds

The competition is hotting up at the Flying Dutchman World Championships with the first two boats - Szabolcs Majthenyi and Andras Domokos HUN 70, and Uwe Ludtke and Kai Schafers GER 88 - tied on points after six races and one discard in the nine race Championship. After a shoreside postponement due to lack of wind, the 45 entries were released from the harbour at Santa Cruz, California, for races 5 and 6.

Winner of the first race was Majthenyi and Domokos with Kramer and Geelkerken of the Netherlands second. In race two Ludtke and Schafers with Nicola were the winners and Francesco Vespasiani of Italy second.
