Bosham Sailing Club is expecting entries from 30 different classes over the weekend of the 22/23 September for their Bosham Classic Boat Revival event in Chichester Harbour. So far 26 Classes have already registered their interest to enter for the 2012 revival and over 60 entries have been received . . . Albacore, Chichester Harbour 18, Christchurch Coot, Cornish Cormorant, Devon Yawl, Fairey Falcon, Fireball, Gull Mk1, Int Finn, International Canoe, Jollyboat, Leader, Merlin Rocket, National 12, National 18, Osprey, Scows, Seaview one design, 12sqm Sharpie, Skua, Swale pilot, Tideway, Torbay Minnow, Vagabond, Wayfarer Mk 1, Wright Twinkle12, Yachting World Dayboat and other similar ‘classic’ dinghy classes with a maximum length of 20ft.

Event organiser Andrew Young said: “We have received interest from throughout the UK and are particularly delighted to welcome a top National 18 competitor from Ireland this year. We raced against them in Scotland recently and look forward to renewing the rivalry!”

There will be five races over the two days across the fleets with committee boat starts in Chichester Harbour. There will also be a hotly-contested Concours D’Elegance award where a wonderful range of classic wooden racing dinghies will be on display.
