Luna Rossa sailed its AC72 for the very first time on Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand. Following a launch ceremony last week, the boat underwent structural load testing and tow testing earlier this week, before sailing for the first time on Friday. The two Auckland based teams - ETNZ and Luna Rossa - are expected to train together over the coming weeks as part of a cooperation agreement designed to accelerate the improvement of both teams.
