Oracle win America's Cup race 16

Oracle Team USA win America's Cup race 16, going from line to line again after a storming start, when they sailed over Emirates Team New Zealand to lead by 5 seconds at the first mark. By the finish they had turned it into a 33 second victory, to take their fifth win of this winning roll.

The time limit prevents a second race so they will race Tuesday, Day 14 of the competition. Oracle now needs just three more victories to successfully defend the America’s Cup. Challenger ETNZ still leads on the scoreboard 8-6. The Kiwis need one victory to win the America’s Cup, Oracle need three race wins.

Race 17, originally scheduled for this Monday is rescheduled to Tuesday, at 21:15, with Race 18 scheduled for 22:15 UK time.
