America's Cup

NZL Sailing Team take control at Red Bull AC

The NZL Sailing Team with Emirates Team New Zealand pulled a horizon job in Race 5 of the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup and has taken control of the regatta with three races to go. Germany’s All In Racing was third, followed by the Swedish Youth Challenge, Next World Energy from France, Full Metal Jacket from New Zealand, the American Youth Sailing Force (which lost a crewman overboard), Portugal’s ROFF/Cascais Sailing Team, Team Tilt and USA45 Racing.

The NZL Sailing team leads the standings with 40 points, followed by Swedish Youth Challenge, 33 points, and American Youth Sailing Force in 3rd with 32 points.
